Michigan Shorthorn Breeders Association supports and promotes Shorthorn cattle & cattle breeders in Michigan. They hold annual events and sales for fellowship and marketing activities, and support youth interested in showing and raising Shorthorn cattle. The organization is run by a board of directors, and while they had an existing website, they were looking to have it redesigned.

Specific Website Needs

The website redesign they requested was to include an updated interface and a fresh new look. We also needed to ensure the site was mobile-friendly, with a membership form and directory, and updated calendar of events.

What we did

Everything is now pulled together in one place, with easy access to membership information, the latest news in livestock, and an easily accessible and continuously updated calendar of events. Like many of the organizations we support that don’t have a website manager on their team, the Association appreciates being able to send us website updates, which we get posted right away.

We also did a little logo design for them, using the same font as the American Shorthorn Association logo, which ties in nicely. New website colors are pleasing, and the layout now adds to the ease of the visitor’s experience.
