How long will it take to design and develop a new website?
Depending on the complexity and size of your website, it could take 60 days up to 120 days. We typically tell clients, from the day you deliver all your content (photos, videos, written copy) to us, we can start designing. Some projects we send photographers and videographers, and assist with copywriting. Sometimes clients provide it all. So that can add to the time it takes to complete a project. Once we have all the content in hand, we start with the home page and 1-2 supporting pages. This is where we set the design and get your approval on colors, fonts, and general feel of the site. Once the design is approved, we set out to build the remaining pages. So if you have 5-10 pages that could be done much quicker than a site with 20-30 pages.
We always give clear timelines at the beginning of a project, but you should plan on 6-8 weeks at an absolute minimum. And more if your site is larger.
