Agrarian Solutions is a company that focuses on livestock health and performance through specialized products addressing issues like mycotoxins and animal immunity. Their product line includes solutions for dairy, beef, swine, and poultry, and their products are utilized globally. Agrarian Solutions sought to update their website with a more modern feel to align with their recent growth and strategy. VanDenBerg Web + Creative was engaged to design and develop a new, mobile-friendly WordPress website that would highlight the company’s research, expertise, and global presence. The project included setting up a WooCommerce shop, integrating various tools, and implementing SEO optimization.

The primary challenge was to create a modern website that accurately reflected Agrarian Solutions’ growth and global reach. The existing website needed a new look and feel. The goals for the project included improving online presence by highlighting the company’s research and expertise, supporting international reach with localized content, and enhancing product navigation for a better user experience. The new site also needed to be fast-loading, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized to improve visibility and organic rankings.

Our Solution
Platform and information architecture
VanDenBerg Web + Creative recommended building a modern, mobile-friendly WordPress website. The new site’s structure is designed to enhance the company’s online presence by highlighting its research and expertise, supporting its international reach, and improving product navigation. The website’s outline includes a home page, a mega menu for products categorized by function, and a section for research and news. The site also features dedicated landing pages for country-specific content, such as for Canada, Egypt, and the UAE, with localized product lists and distributor information.
Design and user experience
The website’s design focuses on being mobile-friendly and fast-loading. A key feature is a user-friendly mega menu that organizes products by function, like “Mycotoxin Mitigation” and “Calf Health.” The design also incorporates focused calls-to-action (CTAs) for actions like newsletter subscriptions and product inquiries. Testimonials and podcast integration are included to help build credibility with visitors.
Content strategy and positioning
The content strategy focused on establishing Agrarian Solutions as a global leader in agricultural health solutions. The new site includes a custom section to showcase the latest research and products. Dedicated pages were created for educational content, categorized blog posts, and mycotoxin reports. For international markets, the strategy included creating dedicated landing pages with localized content and product information. The new site also features an updated About page that adds content from other pages and links to team and distributor pages. The Ruminate This podcast is also integrated with a custom landing page where visitors can listen to episodes without leaving the site.
Integrations, analytics, and search engine optimization
A WooCommerce setup was implemented to provide a simple shopping experience with product landing pages optimized for conversions. The site includes a multi-language translation plugin to support global accessibility. Integration with ConvertKit was also included for form data collection, newsletters, and targeted pop-up campaigns. For SEO, the project included on-page optimization, sitemaps submitted to Google and Bing, and tracking via Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

Results
During the reporting period, the site saw a 74.6% increase in total users, reaching 1,280. Engaged sessions grew by 33.4% to 567. The number of organic search sessions increased by 17.0% , and the total event count was up by 16.0% to 2,764. Events per session increased by 6.0% to 6.13. The engagement rate, however, decreased by 17.9% to 35.93% , and the average engagement time dropped by 22.9% to 35 seconds. This drop in time could be an indicator that the site’s improved navigation and design are making it easier for users to find the information they need more quickly.
