Bazen Electric Case Study
Bazen Electric Company is an electrical contractor in West Michigan serving primarily industrial and commercial clients. They have been in business for over sixty years and have a strong commitment to the local community. They are experts in their trade and dedicated to providing exceptional service with a continued emphasis on quality.
Bazen Electric was founded in 1957 by John Bazen Sr. The company has steadily grown and now employs over sixty team members. Located in Grand Rapids, they are able to serve customers throughout all of western Michigan.
Bazen Electric selected VanDenBerg Web + Creative to redesign their website to better showcase their work. Their existing website was outdated and lacked a mobile ready design. As a well-established, reputable family-owned company in West Michigan, they wanted a website to reflect their strong position in the market.
Solution
VanDenBerg Web + Creative built a custom WordPress website that showcased their range of services and recent projects completed. We highlighted the emergency service they provide on call. We helped them organize completed project photos and services in a way that made it easy for them to consistently add to and maintain on their own.
Challenges
One of the challenges they identified when going through the building process was a lack of project photos. They quickly added this step to their existing project process and now have a system for collecting photos after each project.
To meet this challenge further, VanDenBerg Web + Creative provided training on how to add and update project photos moving forward. Their project managers now capture photos for each project, and administrative staff adds these images to the website to keep their content current.
Being able to visually showcase the work you do is a vital part of a website strategy and digital communications.
Unique Features
Bazen Electric wanted a secure portal to enable employees to login, access, and download employee documents and forms. This is a great way to use a website to meet a need and free up time the Human Resources department spends emailing the same documents.
The website also features a simple contact form to help get the conversation started with potential clients and allow Bazen to route them to the appropriate project manager for bidding. Bazen had immediate leads submitted to the website to follow up on within the first weeks of the new version going live.
We always look for ways to help businesses streamline and simplify workflow by automating information gathering and distribution to build a website that works for them.
