The Bakewell Company is based in Portage, Michigan. Erin and her crew create delicious handmade quiches, brownies, bread puddings and tarts. While they do not ship product, you can order ahead of time to pick up at one of their farmers markets or their kitchen in Portage. Bakewell’s website was a DIY WordPress E-commerce site, and they were ready to update its overall design and streamline that pre-order and pickup experience. They also continue to expand the number of Michigan shops that carry their product, so having an easy-to-navigate site showing all the locations was important.
In order to make the new site a success, we arranged for updated, professional photos of the baked goods to match their level of awesomeness! We built a custom WordPress e-Commerce site using WooCommerce, and the new images made the design come to life. Now Bakewell’s products look as good as they taste! We continue to host and support this online shop.
If you are anywhere from Holland to Lansing to Portage in Michigan, you must pick up a Bakewell specialty soon! We cannot recommend these delectable quiches more.
